Booking your visit to Ascott
A traditional manor house set amid specimen trees, shrubs and lush herbaceous borders, Ascott house and garden makes for a perfect day trip. To help protect this special place all visits to Ascott must be booked in advance. Read on to find out how to book, when to visit and what to do when you arrive.
How to book
All visitors must pre-book online, including National Trust members, Local Resident Pass holders and paying visitors. Tickets can be booked one week in advance and anyone arriving without a booking may be turned away.
National Trust members can visit for free, but please bring your membership card as these must be shown with a valid ticket on entry.
Every Thursday we'll release new bookings and you can now book up to two weeks in advance. You can book up to 18 hours before a timeslot if we have availability. We recommend that you pre book your tickets to guarantee your entry.
- Please book one ticket per person, except for children under 5 as they don’t need a ticket.
- Tickets are for your use only and are not available for resale.
- We'll send your booking confirmation by email. Please make sure you fill in your correct email address when you book to ensure you receive your confirmation email.

Please arrive at the property at your selected time. Entry is staggered to ensure we evenly spread out the arrival of visitors throughout the day, but you are welcome to stay until 5pm.
