Join the rangers in the Mindful Meadow at Chirk Castle this May half term to learn more about butterflies on the estate. Take a closer look and then learn how to hapa zome to create a piece of butterfly art on cloth using flowers and leaves as natural printing materials.
This activity is limited to 10 children per session plus accompanying adults. Tickets available from the ticket office on a first come, first served basis on the day. This event is free. Normal admission charges apply if you wish to visit the castle and gardens.

This activity takes place outdoors, please dress according to the weather.
- Accessibility
This event takes place in a grassed meadow with uneven surfaces. All registered assistance dogs are welcome in the gardens. Our visitor shuttlebus runs from the Ticket Office, up the steep hill to the Castle. There is a step-free route of the garden. Please contact us to borrow and reserve a wheelchair or to hire our Tramper.
